As a long-time supporter of Barnardos Australia, G&C Mutual Bank has again partnered with the Australian Mutuals Foundation (AMF) to support the Barnardos Gifts for Kids – Christmas Gift Appeal.

While 2020 has been a challenging year for most of us, it has been especially tough for Australia’s disadvantaged children. Barnardos Australia’s specialised programs support these children, many of whom have experienced abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness.

The appeal aims to gift 10,000 Christmas presents to disadvantaged children this year. Your participation can help ensure that every child in Barnardos Australia’s care has a gift to unwrap on Christmas Day. Help make Christmas Day the best day of the year for thousands of Australian children in need.

How can I get involved?

The appeal is online this year, so there are two ways you can help:

  1. Pick a gift online to purchase a gift from a wide range of popular toys and games that will bring a smile to a child’s face on Christmas Day. Barnardos Australia will deliver your gift to a child in need this Christmas. Gift delivery will adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines.

  2. Make a donation online and encourage your staff and members to donate too. Thousands of children depend on Barnardos Australia’s services every year, and your donation can help bring them joy this Christmas.

The Barnardos Christmas Gift Appeal will run until 24 December 2020. Let’s help bring smiles to thousands of children’s faces and make Christmas extra special this year.

"Thank you" for your support.

About the Australian Mutuals Foundation (AMF)
