We love the dedication and hard work NSW Ambulance provide to our community, especially over the past few years which included responding to the NSW bushfires, the COVID-19 pandemic and the NSW east-coast weather events and floods. Following three unprecedented years for the NSW Ambulance workforce, 2022 marked the return of the annual thought leadership summit. The NSW Ambulance Summit 2022 centred around "The Next Normal" which discussed "the future of the profession, and how ambulance services can continue to change and evolve in that context"; a very important and critical discussion to have.

As part of our ongoing sponsorship and relationship with NSW Ambulance, we were grateful to have been able to attend this year's Summit held in August 2022.

Our G&C representatives Matthew Penny, Catherine Volkiene, and Executive Manager Vanessa Tomic, attended the session and listened to several speakers.

"It is inspiring, as always, to witness the passion and focus evident right across NSW Ambulance, and this year's Summit clearly demonstrated their untiring drive to continuously improve the level of care and positive outcomes experienced by their patients," Vanessa said.

Vanessa continues to say, "I am awed by the work these people do on a daily basis, and hope that G&C Mutual Bank's many years of support for NSW Ambulance reflects our constant appreciation."

A long and enduring relationship with NSW Ambulance

For over a decade, G&C Mutual Bank has supported various NSW Ambulance events, including our key sponsorship of the NSW Ambulance Employee of the Month Award and the NSW Ambulance Employee of the Year Award. Each month, NSW Ambulance employees nominate a colleague for the Employee of the Month Award. The recipient of the Employee of the Year Award is chosen from that year's Honour Roll of Employees of the Month. The awards recognise those who go above and beyond for their team and the community.

Thank you, NSW Ambulance, for everything you do for our community.
