We are committed to your security and privacy online and that’s why we have employed a wide range of security measures to help you bank online in a safe and secure environment.
To log into your Online Banking you need to provide your member number and your access code which is a unique code chosen by you. We encourage you to set up a strong access code between 4-12 character long, a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers and other symbols. Never create them with your birthday date, your anniversary or personal information which is easy to guess.
Encryption is a process of scrambling the data contained in a communication which can only be unlocked or decrypted with the correct key.
We use 128 bit enterprise grade encryption model (Secure Socket Layer - SSL), which is the best form of encryption used by leading financial institutions. To ensure that you have successfully connected to SSL encryption, your browser should display a closed padlock sign.
It's a free and easy to use service that uses your mobile phone to provide you with an extra layer of security. It provides a once-only password (the One Time Password) which is generated and sent to your mobile phone to verify your transactions.
As a security measure, your Online Banking will automatically time-out after a period of 20 minutes of it being not used. This protects your account against any unauthorised activity in the event that your session is left unattended. You should always log out of your Online Banking session after you have finished using it.
Every member registered for Online Banking is set to a maximum daily limit on electronic funds that they can transfers to other financial institutions. You can change this limit to a level that meets your daily transactional needs. If you need to increase your daily limit to allow for special transactions, please call us on 1300 364 400 and we will be happy to assist.
Multiple sessions are not allowed for the same member, which means you cannot log onto a tablet and your PC at the same time. It is important that you log out of the Online Banking session from one device before you start another session on another device. Attempting to open multiple sessions of Online Banking will automatically log off any existing session.
It is your responsibility to ensure you protect your system by having a Firewall, which protects your PC against intrusion. We also recommend installing an Antivirus and Adware/Spyware software program with an auto update feature.
By installing anti-virus, anti-spyware and firewall security software on your computer and ensuring regular automatic updates are enabled, you can help to keep your computer protected against external attacks by viruses, worms or hackers.
