In October, G&C Mutual Bank went sideline to cheer on the Corrective Services and NSW Ambulance Oz Tag teams competing in the 2019 NSW Police & Emergency Services Games.

The competition was hotly contested and over a gruelling succession of pool matches the dominant teams pushed through to the finals. We’re proud to announce that one of our sponsored teams, “Safe Direction”, from Corrective Services Dog Squad & Security & Intelligence Group - John Morony Correctional Complex, finished in second place.

Congratulations to all the players who gave their best on the day. We would also like to thank Catherine Volkiene, our Mobile Lender, for her help with this event. We’re looking forward to next year’s Games already!

The 2019 NSW Police & Emergency Services Games took place from 19th–24th October in Wollongong, with the exception of the equestrian events which were held on 26th-27th October in Camden. The Games' full event schedule comprised 43 sports including angling, basketball, netball, soccer, tennis and triathlon.

At G&C Mutual Bank we actively support workplace groups such as Corrective Services NSW, NSW Ambulance and Liverpool Hospital. As well as providing key engagement programs, we also arrange workplace visits with educational content to help empower employees to take charge of their money matters.
